EasyCAD V7 uses double precision floating point throughout, greatly increasing the accuracy of your work, and still delivers up to a 40x speed improvement on file loading and redraw operations.

It includes the SHEETS facility, which may be used either to produce multi-page drawing sets, or as an additional level of layering throughout a drawing, and which offer many new printing options for combining sheets to produce title blocks, etc.

For the first time, EasyCAD now includes the multiple windowing facility from its big brother, FastCAD. This allows you to keep several windows open at different scales and zooms to allow rapid digitizing and selection. It allows multiple customizable icon bars and the new, faster, V7 drop-down combo box controls for quick selections of styles and layers already in use. Gallery files of various styles may be used to archive and share style definitions.

Both dimension and text entities now support hot-linked (auto-update) style sheets as well as our traditional individual settings, and both may be intermixed for added flexibility.

You can now use both our smart wall and smart symbol design features, that allow symbols to automatically scale and rotate to fit as they are dynamically dragged over various drawing entities.

Also included for the first time are FastCAD's symbol catalogs, an easy way to organize symbol libraries and to rapidly access and use large collections of symbols dynamically.

V7 features a new, much more powerful, entity selection method with hot keys and mouse movements combined to allow unparalleled entity selection abilities.

It features a new, easier line style editing ability, and scaleable hatch fills. Geometric line widths as well as pen thickness attributes are now supported.

Dimensioning has been improved and new baseline and ordinate dimensioning methods have been added, and entity PEDIT/PCHANGE commands have been added to ease editing entity properties.

EasyCAD now supports XREFs for better DWG/DXF compatibility, and PICT entities so that scaleable bitmaps may be included and CAD entities may be overlaid on the bitmaps.
